Throughout the COVID-19 State of Emergency, Pelham local business, Pelham Medical Aesthetics have used the health inspected kitchen at their clinic to prepare 60 lunches two times a week and deliver them to The Hope Centre in Welland.
As a result of the incredible community support that they have received they have now stepped up their cooking to three times a week!
PMA Owner, Marcie Bak recently shared these comments on her business Facebook Page, ‘We are so lucky to have this to do… #itfeelsgoodtodogood Please keep us in mind if you are looking for places to donate.
We are able to cook fresh meals and so can take most foods. What we can’t use we will share with the other organizations in need.”
If you would like to be a part of this and help feed our community, here are some ways to help:– Drop off food donations Mondays or Thursday’s 9am-11am outside PMA side door (Next to Boggio’s Fonthill Pharmacy/Log Cabin Gift Shoppe)– Purchase a bag of assorted bath bombs (4 Bath bombs for $20) and $5 goes towards food to feed a person (it’s a win win!)
How #localAWESOME is this!
