Milka Santoro, Your Travel Advisor at The Travel Cafe Experience, sits down with Santa Claus himself to talk about his favorite travel suggestions for families, couples, and solo travelers in 2025
Milka: Santa, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to chat with us! You’ve traveled all over the globe many, many, many times. With all your experience, where would you suggest a family go in 2025?
Santa: Ho, ho, ho! Families are so important, and I always recommend destinations where everyone can have fun together. First up, I’d say Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres in Mexico. The resort is perfect for families—there’s something for everyone, from kids’ clubs and activities to beautiful beaches for relaxation.
And of course, you can’t go wrong with a family cruise on Royal Caribbean. Cruises take the stress out of planning, and there’s no better way to explore multiple destinations while keeping the little ones entertained with all the onboard fun!
I’d suggest an expedition cruise on Lindblad Expeditions for families who really want their kids to learn about our amazing planet. It’s such an incredible way to get up close with nature, wildlife, and cultures while creating unforgettable memories together.
Milka: Those are great suggestions! Now, considering your travels, where would you recommend for couples looking for a romantic getaway?
Santa: Well, Milka, couples deserve a little magic, too! I’d say a stunning Windstar Cruise in the Mediterranean is a dream come true. Imagine sailing into beautiful ports, walking hand-in-hand through charming villages, and indulging in delicious food and wine… it’s the perfect romantic escape.
Another favorite of mine for couples is St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The beauty there is just unmatched. It’s one of the most serene and picturesque places I’ve ever visited—pure paradise for a relaxing and intimate getaway.
Milka: That sounds heavenly! Now, Santa, I’ve been hearing more and more from ladies, especially those in their 40s and 50s, who want to reclaim a little independence and take a trip on their own. Where would you recommend for a solo traveler?
Santa: Ho, ho, ho, I love this question! Solo travel is such a wonderful way to recharge and reconnect with yourself. I have to say, for any woman looking for a trip focused on wellness, relaxation, and empowerment, there’s nothing better than your exclusive Bali Wellness that you are hosting. Bali is truly magical—from its peaceful beaches to its lush landscapes and spiritual energy. This retreat offers the perfect mix of self-care, exploration, and rejuvenation.
And while we’re on the topic of women’s travel, I’d also suggest checking out the Women’s Travel Club right here in the cafe with you. They specialize in amazing small group tours designed just for women—a great way to explore new destinations while making lifelong friends along the way!
Milka: Wow, Santa, you’ve really given us some incredible ideas! Any final travel tips for everyone planning their next adventure?
Santa: Oh, absolutely! My top advice is to work with a trusted Virtuoso Travel Advisor—like you, Milka! Having someone who knows all the best places, hidden gems, and tips to make a trip stress-free is a gift in itself. And remember, there’s no time like the present to start planning your next adventure. Ho, ho, ho!
And then he was off! A few cookies in hand from Amanda, Cafe Owner, for Mrs. Claus and he was gone! Back to the North Pole to make sure all is on schedule for his big day!!
From all of us, to all of you, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to helping you get to all the incredible places around the globe!
