What a perfect day for the return of Fonthill Lion’s SLIDERFEST  fundraising party!  Five local Niagara chefs competed for ticket holders’ vote with Backroad Barbeque Company taking home the title of “Niagara‘s Best Slider 2023“.

Flavourful Turkey with Feta and Roasted Red Pepper, topped with Hummus, Tzatziki, Pickled Turnip and Fresh cucumber, served on a Mini kaiser.

The event was held at the Fonthill Lions Club, GL Klager Park on Saturday August 12th, 2023. Music filled the air as The Rhythm Hounds returned to SLIDERFEST 2023 by popular demand.  Country 89 was also live on site. With great music, an amazing silent auction, kids play area and lots of good food – Sliderfest was fun for all ages!
