Get ready for an exciting day on the diamond as the Welland Slo-Pitch League presents Niagara’s inaugural Saving Second Base Softball Tournament! Taking place on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, at the Welland Complex/Memorial Park, this event promises thrilling action for all.

Organized by the Welland Slo-Pitch League, the tournament will feature divisions for Men’s, Ladies’, and COED teams, with a dynamic 6/4 player format. With a generous $1000 cash prize awaiting the first-place winners in each division (based on 8 teams per division), the competition is sure to be fierce.

But it’s not just about the game – it’s about making a difference. All proceeds from the tournament will go to support Wellspring Niagara, a vital organization providing cancer support services in our community.

In addition to the intense on-field battles,  players are encouraged to wear some pink and bring their team spirit for ‘Pink in the Park Day’, honouring those affected by breast cancer.
