The Welland Jackfish is asking fans for voting support in the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) Best of the Ballparks fan vote. Home to the Welland Jackfish, the Welland Stadium is rivalling seven other IBL League Ballparks. Fans can cast one vote per day until voting ends on June 25, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. Voting is quick and easy through the Intercounty Baseball League website at www.theibl.ca/news/ibl-best-of-the-ballparks.

“Welland Stadium is the premier outdoor venue in the Niagara Region,” said Jackfish Owner, Ryan Harrison. “The way the city maintains this place over the last 30 years is nothing short of amazing. We are proud to call this place home, and hope to do so for years to come.”

Welland Jackfish call the 2,340 seat Welland Stadium home. In the team’s first 2019 season of Intercounty Baseball League action, the Welland Jackfish welcomed more than 15,000 fans to the ballpark. Welland Jackfish continue to make improvements to the stadium and enrich spectators’ experience by updating and adding new features to the ballpark.

The Welland Stadium is undergoing revitalizations that include VIP tables, concession TV menus, and a fresh coat of paint. Welland Jackfish hope to become a community signature and continue to attract fans from across Niagara and beyond.
