Join the NC Knight Walkers for the Coldest Night of the Year on February 24 in support the The Open Arms Mission of Welland.
The College community is encouraged to join NC’s team –the NC Knight Walkers – by participating in the walk or by supporting the team through donations.
This will be the ninth year that Joe Abbruscato, professor from the School of Trades, has been involved with local CNOY walks; he is the team captain for the NC Knight Walkers and is hoping the NC team can raise $10,000 for CNOY 2024.
The Welland CNOY walk will kick off and end at the Welland Campus for the second consecutive year. The walk will begin at 4 p.m. (registration will begin at 2:30 p.m.) and there will be a reception at the Core to follow.
Participants will have the option to walk a 2.5 or 5-km route around the campus (view map below).
Logistics for the event will be led by NC’s Community Relations and Events team. NC Student Administrative Council Operations will host the reception and provide the venue, food and drink.
Visit the team’s fundraising page to join or donate.
