PenFinancial Credit Union has announced a monetary donation of $25,000 to support local organizations providing emergency supports to those impacted by COVID-19 in the Niagara and Haldimand communities.
“With the latest state of emergency and stay-at-home orders in Ontario, we are keenly aware that many people in our community continue to be under great strain – including the increased stress of trying to make ends meet, as well as the increased difficulty of maintaining physical and emotional well-being,” said Ken Janzen, CEO of PenFinancial Credit Union. “Recognizing this, we wanted to step in to assist the organizations who are providing invaluable support to our community. I am honoured to announce that PenFinancial Credit Union is donating $25,000 in emergency funds which will be distributed to various local organizations to support critical food shortages and provide emergency resources across our region.”
We are working directly with local food banks and other community organizations to expedite these donations to support those in need. To learn more about the organizations we support, visit penfinancial.com/about/giving-back.
