WOMEN’S SOCCER
Niagara women’s soccer team’s record sits at 2-4-2 following a week where it lost 2-1 to Fanshawe (4-4) and recorded a 1-1 tie with Redeemer (3-1-4).
Scoring for the Knights were Mia DiPasquale and Tori Hultink.
“I was very happy with our performance against Redeemer on Saturday. They’re one of the top teams in the OCAA, having only lost one game this season,” Niagara head coach Rob Lalama said. “We defended well and also moved the ball well in attack. I’m proud of how this young team has improved in eight games.”
The Knights are at Humber (5-0-3) Wednesday before hosting Mohawk (6-1-1) Friday at 6 p.m. at Young’s Sportsplex. There will be a Spooky Tailgate at Young’s Sportsplex as the team plays its last home game of the regular season.
