This year’s Julia’s Hope Cup held Saturday February 17th, 2024 exceeded our fundraising goal of $50,000 with over $61,000 and counting (additional donations will be added over the next week)

We are so grateful for the continuous support from the community of Welland. Thank you for joining us in this celebration of life of Julia Turner and her spirit of compassion, while raising funds for The Hope Centre.

This year, The Hope Centre is Celebrating 50 years of Hope in Welland.

Formed in 1974 (originally known as Welland Community Resource and Action Centre – WCRAC) by a group of concerned citizens and organizations who recognized that there were several people who were falling through the cracks of the social service system.

Now 50 years later, The Hope Centre continues to assist, support, empower and advocate for the most vulnerable members of our community.

The funds raised will go towards The Hope Centre’s food security programs, including their food bank and commmunity lunch program.
