Many studies have shown that spending time in natural settings has important health and wellness benefits: Lowers blood pressure, strengthens immune system, reduces pain, improves sleep, decreases stress, reduces depression and anxiety, and improves concentration and memory function.
Join our Certified Forest Therapy Guide on a guided stroll through the forest with a focus on Mindfulness techniques. Walks happen monthly from May through November. Recommended for all ages and abilities. Call 905-704-3660 to register. Priority will be given to ‘first-time’ walkers and patients of WMFHT, though it is open to the community.
