E.L. Crossley captured the boys team title at the Southern Ontario Secondary Schools Association track and field meet held at Centennial last Wednesday and Thursday.
Crossley also placed second in the combined team event followed by West Niagara and Sir Winston Churchill in third and fourth place.
Churchill was second in the boys division while West Niagara was fourth and Sir Winston Churchill was fifth.
Crossley was third in the girls division while West Niagara was fourth and Eden was fifth.
Following are winners and locals who placed in the top five at SOSSA. The top five individuals and relay teams advance to the South Regionals May 29 and 30 in Hamilton.
NOVICE GIRLS:
100 metres: 1. Amairah Gayle, Collegiate (12.71); 3. Faith Dyck, Port Colborne; 5. Isla Hart, Blessed Trinity.
