Happy fall everyone, we hope you are taking advantage of the long fall weather and our late season harvest.  Marc planted some radishes, carrots and tons of greens that are now at their peak and we want to offer it to our newsletter followers.

At this time of year Marc is adding compost to the gardens, planting cover crops, applying biodynamic preparations and putting things away for the winter.  There are still plans to plant trees before the snow flies including our pawpaw orchard.  It is a very satisfying time for us as we look forward to debriefing our last season and early planning for 2022.  Already we are excited to share the news, our newest business venture – Rumar Seeds.  We have been saving certified organic and biodynamic seeds from our crops all year and will be offering them for sale in the spring 2022.

Please check out or online store, there are still lots of delicious produce available.  You can place your order from our website www.rumarfarm.ca , select a convenient pickup date/time and your order will be in our refrigerated black produce shed (the one with our pink Rumar sign).  Find the bag with your name on it and off you go through our convenient drive thru.

• arugula, tender lettuce mix, stir fry mix
• baby spinach
• cherry tomatoes
• egg plant, radish, turnip, carrots
• sweet and hot peppers
• kale and swiss chard
• garlic
• honey

We do have brown eggs and post them as they become available.  However, they are snapped up quickly so keep checking back because they are worth it.
