Local Musician Lindsey Mills has gathered a collective of volunteer vocalists to sing the Aaronic Blessings over six Senior Homes in Welland to bless them and protect them. Mills is serving as the Music Director, Music Coordinator and Musician and has put together a vocal group that includes approximately 30-40 people.
“This was the vision of my beautiful friend Cheryl Bristow who is a published author. Her vision was in April but due to the restrictions of COVID we had to put it on hold – but now we are moving forward.
I have two of my bands involved, my Christian band and my Lindsey Mills Collective Band (all women). We also have some former members of Oh Canada Eh, members of the Port Colborne Operatic Society and some members of other local vocal groups including St. Kevin’s choir members participating.”
Performance Day: Saturday, October 3, 2020 (We do not have a rain date at this point hence: RAIN DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED)
*COVID Protocol: Everyone will wear masks and sanitize their hands when they arrive, and continue to wear masks until the moment we begin to sing in outdoor settings. During the performance everyone will space themselves at double arms length from each other in order to protect physical distancing requirements as much as possible.
