The Capitol Arts Market an artists’ cooperative located in Simcoe, Ontario is presenting an art show, opening February 1st, which will run until March 28th, to raise funds in support of wildlife rescue efforts in Australia.
Members of the Capitol Arts Market have been frustrated and feeling helpless, as horrific stories and footage of the ongoing devastation caused by wildfires in Australia, flood the news and social media daily. Saddened by the ravages to Australia’s unique and precious ecosystem, including a huge range of unique wildlife species, the group, along with other local artists have organized a special art show to raise funds in support of wildlife rescue efforts in Australia. Wanting to help make a difference, artists are donating their artwork – one hundred percent of the sales/proceeds from this special show will go towards wildlife rescue endeavours in Australia.
The show will run for two months from February 1stto March 28th, 2020. Everyone is invited to attend the opening at the Capitol Arts Market, 13 Norfolk St. S. in Simcoe, on February 1st, from 1-3 pm. Please join us, show your support and come view the artwork in this special show.
