The Fall edition of the Bird Strike Association of Canada’s Newsletter features how Accipiter Radar and Falcon Environmental help keep aviation safe from birds and drones at Toronto’s Pearson International. The article was written co-operatively by BSAC members Paul Woods, Pierre Molina and Tim Nohara. It is presented here with a view towards demonstrating new uses of existing technology at an airport. Because drones are a concern for airports and airplanes, we are happy to publish this article which highlights a Canadian approach towards dealing with a global issue.
