Habitat for Humanity Niagara is asking for donatable home improvement items to restock its three ReStores located in Fonthill, Grimsby and St. Catharines.
The charity had to close its ReStores during the recent provincial lockdown, however kept its online sales going with curbside pick-up which increased dramatically during this time – now they have to replenish its stores.
Why donate to the ReStore?
You receive a charitable tax receipt. You’ll receive a charitable tax receipt for items valued at $100 or more – that’s good for you!
It’s good for the community. Habitat for Humanity ReStores play an integral part in Habitat’s mission, bringing financial support for our work. Proceeds from every ReStore purchase you’ll help build homes for families across Niagara and help local families build brighter futures for themselves.
It helps the environment. Every item donated to the ReStore equals less useable material being thrown in a landfill.
New or gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, home décor and other home improvement items are being accepted for drop-off Monday to Saturday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at all of its ReStores. If you have larger items, they’ll pick them up for FREE!
Here’s a list of items they accept.
