Construction Begins Sept 2020

This week, Greenergy, whose brand portfolio includes Mobil, Mr. Gas, Breakaway and Inver, and Waypoint Convenience will be breaking ground on a new discount gas station which will be located within the Seaway Mall parking lot facing Niagara St, in the area west of Staples.

Greenergy has been in business for over 25 years and entered the Canadian market as a new, independent fuel supplier in 2013.  In February 2020, they merged with BG Fuels, a leading Canadian gas and retail operator, providing additional expertise and resources to further expand their Canadian business. The plan is for the gas station to be operational by March 2021.  The completed gas station will also include a Waypoint convenience store and car wash.

Beginning this week, General Contractor Demik Construction will be on site to commence the first phase of construction. This will primarily be an early phase of the project involving se-up, mobilization and layout.
