Many families and individuals in our community need help due to a variety of factors including low wages, job loss, injuries, illness, age or marital breakdown.  While all of us are susceptible to hard times. Services offered through Pelham Cares Inc. are available to residents of Pelhamwhich includes individuals and families living in Fonthill, Fenwick, Ridgeville, Effingham and North Pelham. NO one is TURNED AWAY!!

From April 19 to 25, Volunteer Canada and Pelham Cares Inc. celebrate Canada’s 12.7 million volunteers during National Volunteer Week. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the volunteers of Pelham and surrounding communities for the work they do for Pelham Cares Inc.– helping out, giving back and having fun.

The contributions of Pelham Cares volunteers are invaluable. Over 60 volunteers contribute close to 4,000 hours to carry out the services offered by Pelham Cares and that well over 22,000 kms are driven annually by volunteers who take seniors and those in need to medical appointments across Niagara and beyond.  Pelham Cares could not exist without the hard work, dedication and contributions of our volunteers.

An EXTRA special thanks to those who were able to continue to remain available through the COVID-19 Crisis currently we are facing. Taking extra protective precautions to be able to continue to meet the needs of our community goes without notice! We could not remain open without them and our donors!
