To celebrate Earth Day, the Friends of Short Hills Park is again hosting its annual Trash Bash. This event targets the perimeter of the park and the three parking lots. Volunteers are asked to meet at the bottom of First Street Louth (2888 First St.) for 9am. Wear bright clothing, sturdy foot wear and gloves – garbage bags will be provided as well as refreshments. Community service hours available to high school students.
