3rd Annual Rally on Earthday call for Action (AREA)

On Saturday, April 20, PATH will be holding the 3rd Annual Rally on Earthday call for Action (AREA) from 1 to 3 p.m. at Peace Park, 20 Market Square Fonthill (behind Town Hall). RAIN or SHINE! Be safe; bring your lawn chairs, signs, and umbrellas.
This year’s theme for our Rally is “Act Now to Protect the Future,” emphasizing involving the younger population and protecting the Singers Drain, which contains the Province’s Significant Wetlands and Woodlands in the undeveloped Merritt Road. Join us at this Rally as we welcome the following event participants:
Niagara’s own Songwriter and Folk Singer, Jamie Snider,
The Green Herons a youth group of environmental activists from St. Catharines.
Jackie Oblak, Chair of Pelham Environment and Climate Adaptation Advisory Committee.
Anne Yagi from 8 Trees is an environmental organization that conducts scientific research.
Albert Garofalo, a field Biologist for over twenty years and an instructor from Niagara College.
Our Guest Speaker is none other than Pelham’s own Adam Shoalts, the explorer, historian, archaeologist, geographer, and author of bestselling books, including his latest, “Where the Flacon Flies”
