Family Day at the Meridian Community Centre was a fantastic celebration of community spirit, bringing families together for a fun-filled day of activities. The centre was buzzing with energy as young families took part in an array of exciting experiences—from painting on the ice to playing laser tag, trying out lacrosse, and exploring other sports. The day was made even more special with a free Pelham Panthers hockey game, generously sponsored by our local Tim Hortons.

Connecting with the Community at the Expo

We were thrilled to be part of the Community Expo held in the main foyer, where we had the opportunity to showcase our Community Platform services. It was a pleasure to meet local organizations and share how we can help promote their events and initiatives through our platform. Our Community Calendar is open to all community groups and non-profits for free event postings—so if you’ve got an event coming up, send it our way, and we’ll help spread the word!

Food4Kids Niagara working in partnership with the Rotary Club of Fonthill, collecting non-perishable items for distribution to children in Niagara schools

Pelham Raiders Lacrosse: hosting a ‘try before you buy’ experience, lead by coaches and trainers,for children to try lacrosse and learn basic skills. Registration is now open for Spring Session of Field Lacrosse

Merritville Gives Back: Merritville Speedway will be hosting Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Friday April 18th with fun activities for the whole family! Easter egg hunts, carnival games, easter bunny visits, inflatables, live trivia, fire trucks, race cars, face painting, colouring contest, great food, and more!

Pelham Cares: Hosting a draw for a  signed and framed Auston Matthews jersey (valued at $1500) – tickets for your chance to win are $20 each. Proceeds support Pelham Cares Youth Sport & Recreation Subsidy  -a sponsorship program to allow children (18 years of age or younger and still attending school) of qualifying families living in Pelham, to participate in sports, recreational and educational activitiess

South Niagara Canoe Club: offering paddling programs in Sprint Canoe/Kayak, Dragon Boat, Outrigger Canoe, and summer camps for kids

Pelham Baseball: Registration is now open for the Summer Season

Pelham Panthers Junior Hockey Our Hometown Junior Hockey team playing in the Eastern Conference of the GOJHL.
