The Niagara Community Legal Clinic, Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre, Migrant Farmworkers Project – Anglican Diocese of Niagara and the Lincoln Pelham Library recently announced the launch of the Worker Hub. This new collaborative initiative aims to support migrant farm workers in Pelham. Located at the Lincoln Pelham Public Library, Maple Acre Branch in Fenwick, the Worker Hub provides free and confidential support to all migrant farm workers, with no appointment needed. This comprehensive resource centre is designed to enhance the well-being and integration of migrant workers within the community.

Legal Services
Niagara Community Legal Clinic
- Offering free and confidential legal services and assistance with applying for benefits such as EI parental benefits, disability benefits, pension benefits, and more. (Please note: tax return filing is not provided
English Classes and Community Supports
Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre
- Providing English language classes to help improve communication skills.
- Hosting information and educational sessions.
- Offering computer literacy training.
- Providing interpretation and translation services.
- Emergency food and in-kind support.
Social Space and Pastoral Care
Migrant Farmworkers Project – Anglican Diocese of Niagara
- A welcoming environment where workers can play games, connect with friends, and enjoy light refreshments and snacks.
- Spiritual and pastoral care available in Spanish.
- Clothing and food support.
Library Services
Lincoln Pelham Public Library
- Workers can use free WiFi and public computers whenever the library is open. Additionally, hotspots can be borrowed if their farms do not have WiFi (subject to availability).

The Worker Hub is located at the Lincoln Pelham Public Library, Maple Acre Branch, 781 Canboro Road, Fenwick, ON, LOS 1CO. It will be open on Fridays from 5-8 PM on the following dates:

A Collaborative Community Effort
The Worker Hub is a result of the collaborative efforts of multiple community organizations, all dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of migrant workers. This initiative complements the ongoing work of the Welland McMaster Family Health Team and other local organizations committed to enhancing the lives of seasonal agricultural workers in Pelham.
