Zach’s interest in rehabilitation came from receiving treatment over many years for multiple sports injuries. As an athlete, he understands how important it is to seek treatment to heal injuries, but also that regular treatment is essential to preventing them.
Graduating from McMaster University with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2021, Zach built a foundation in anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise prescription. He specifically became interested in the rehabilitation sciences while working with varsity athletes, acute injuries, chronic conditions, individuals with spinal cord injuries, cancer survivors, and cardiac patients throughout his undergrad.
Zach graduated from the Accelerated Massage Therapy program at Ontario College of Health and Technology in April of 2022. He is excited to begin his career and continue growing as a massage therapist. Zach’s mindset to treatment is to pair a wide range of different techniques with a home exercise program that empowers his patients to take their treatment into their own hands.
