Niagara is hosting the 2022 Canada Summer Games and is looking to commission an outdoor sculpture that celebrates Indigenous history and cultures.
The outdoor sculpture will honour Niagara’s rich history of Indigenous peoples who have lived in the area for thousands of years, and its current diversity as home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples from across Turtle Island.
The public art feature will be located at the northwest corner of the International Plaza at Niagara Region Headquarters, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Way, adjacent to the Canada Summer Games site.
