Earlier this month (Jun 1st) the Seaway Mall began hosting its weekly Farmer’s Market, allowing local farmers and vendors a safe outlet to again sell their wares. With increased social distancing measures and safety protocols now in place, guests can feel confident shopping and supporting the 25 plus vendors in attendance.
The weekly market is held each Monday from 1pm-6pm in the front parking lot facing Niagara Street.
#ShopLocal with New Safety Guidelines
With new guidelines for social distancing in place to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, guests to the market can feel safe while shopping for local produce and prepared foods.
While many traditional farmer’s markets have yet to reopen, the market at the Seaway Mall is proud to be again supporting local growers. Because the market utilizes the parking lot rather than set stalls within a building, it was easy to accommodate the new rules for social distancing required.
Availability
An array of locally grown fresh produce, flowers, honey, prepared foods, and even wine can be found within the market.
