On Wednesday October 18^th at Rotary Club of Welland Park, Rotarians and students from Notre Dame College School joined City of Welland forestry staff planting five trees. The City received a donation of 20 trees from TD Friends of the Environment Foundation Grant, a national charity that funds environmental projects across Canada. The City used 15 trees to beautify Rotary Park along the Welland Recreational Waterway.

These trees are the beginning of the replacement of trees devastated by the Emerald Ash Borer

Thank you to Welland City staff and the students for making this area more desirable for the community.
