Niagara Health Foundation is excited to announce the return of its Niagara Health 50/50 Lottery.  The Niagara Health 50/50 Lottery will begin on February 14, 2022, and will run until March 11, 2022.

The Lottery will give participants more chances to win during its “More Ways to Win” days.   Ten (10) $500 prizes will be given away, one per day, on February 18^th, February 21^st through the 25^th and February 28^th through March 3^rd.  Lottery participants will also have a chance to win one (1) of five (5) $1,000 Early Bird prizes and the Grand Prize guaranteed to be a minimum of $20,000.  The Niagara Health 50/50 Lottery has awarded $417,905 in cash prizes since its launch during the summer of 2020.

“This will be our fifth Niagara Health 50/50 Lottery, and we received incredible support from the community.  We have also had many participants reach out with the idea of providing more ways to win, so we listened and are going to give away $500 a day for ten days leading into the Early Bird Deadline.” Andrea Scott, President & CEO of Niagara Health Foundation.

Tickets for the Niagara Health Lottery are 3 for $10, 40 for $20 and 200 for $50.  The deadline for the $500 “More Ways to Win” prizes will be 11:59pm the night before each of the draws. The deadline to be eligible for the five (5) $1,000 Early Bird prizes is 11:59pm on March 3.  The Early Bird prizes are once again “Powered” by Desjardins. 

The Lottery will continue until 11:59pm on March 10, with the GRAND PRIZE jackpot winner being drawn at 10:00am on March 11.  The Lottery is open to all Niagara and Ontario residents age 18 and over.  All proceeds from the Niagara Health Lottery will support urgently needed patient-care equipment like ultrasounds, critical care beds, and endoscopy equipment across all of the Niagara Health Sites.

“Our healthcare teams have been pushed to the brink once again, and it is our mission, as the Niagara Health Foundation, to find ways to support the purchase of vitally needed patient care equipment. Our lotteries help us achieve that, and, we can award potentially life-changing cash prizes to our winners. For us, that is a win-win,” said Scott.
