The Niagara Health Foundation’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Scott, CPA, CA, as the President & CEO. Andrea Scott has been serving as the Interim President & CEO of the Foundation since September 2020 and has become the permanent President & CEO effective July 2, 2021.  Andrea has been with the Foundation since October 2017 and previously held the position of Director, Finance & Administration.

Andrea is a life-long resident of Niagara with over fifteen years of leadership experience with expertise in non-profit financial management, human resources and operations management. Andrea has been instrumental in the Foundation receiving accreditation with Imagine Canada and has led the Foundation to raise over $9 million in support of Niagara Health in the year ending May 31, 2021.

I cannot personally say enough of the hard work she has done in both of these capacities and I cannot wait to see the great work that lies ahead.”

Andrea’s interim leadership has led the Foundation through the incredible challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  She has ensured that the team at the Foundation has been supported and has had the resources needed to help raise significant funds for Niagara Health. Andrea will be focused on ensuring the Foundation is prepared for the launch of the South Niagara Site capital campaign and meeting the ongoing equipment, research and education funding needs of Niagara Health.
