Niagara Health Foundation is excited to announce the launch of its third community-wide 50/50 lottery. The Niagara Health Lottery will begin on July 26 andwill conclude on August 26. Lottery participants will have a chance to win one (1) of five (5) $1,000 Early-Bird prizes as well as the grand prize, which is guaranteed to be $20,000. The Niagara Health Lottery has already given away $269,000 in its past two draws.

“We have partnered once again with Desjardins, and we can’t wait to see where this Lottery ends up.  Our last winners were 11 staff from the Welland Hospital, and they split $148,975.  Our Lottery is giving people a chance at life-changing money all while helping vital needs for local healthcare at Niagara Health.” Chris Green, Director of Communications, Marketing & Community Engagement, Niagara Health Foundation.

Tickets for the Niagara Health Lottery are 3 for $10, 40 for $20 and 200 for $50. The deadline for the first early bird-draw of two (2) $1,000 prizes will be August 3 at 11:59pm, and the second Early-Bird deadline will be August 17 at 11:59pm with a chance to win three (3) prizes of $1,000.  The Early-Bird prizes are “Powered” by Desjardins.

The Lottery will continue until August 26 at 11:59pm, with the jackpot winner being announced on August 27. The Lottery is open to all Niagara and Ontario residents. All proceeds from theNiagara Health Lottery will support urgently needed patient-care equipment like ultrasounds, critical care beds, and endoscopy equipment across all of the Niagara Health Sites.
