Sally has a passion for teaching and helping people improve their health and wellness. She teaches the Aging Actively classes here at Movement Unlimited. Having taught for over 20 years, Sally is fascinated & inspired by the small increments in progress she sees in clients. Breaking down each movement to meet each clientโs needs allows her to see the look of accomplishment in their eyes and the smiles on their faces as they progress to each new level.

I had just broken my back and knew, eventually, I could end up with major long-term problems. After watching someone do Pilates, I thought it would be helpful to learn! My teacher was not impressed and tried to make me leave, but I am very grateful I stayed. I learned so much about working with injuries and the importance of encouraging others to keep moving. Movement is the best way to cope with the pain, and now I can help others stay motivated to keep it up.

My favourite type of clients are ones with disabilities, small or large. They see how valuable life is and, when restricted, are open to the idea that there might be just another way โ finding new ways to move, using props for support, and having trust that others have done it and that their instructors can be of value in their recovery.
