THE VISUAL ARTISTS OF WELLAND will be hosting a FREE “Kids Paint a Square” event in October in the outer hallway near the VAW Gallery at the Seaway mall. This event runs on October 15/16, October 22/23 and October 29/30. Hours will be Fridays- 10:30 to 6:00 and Saturdays 10:30 to 4:00 p.m.

Due to Covid restrictions, this event will require PRE-REGISTRATION for your child or children in advance as each child will paint one square within 20 minutes to allow for sanitizing of equipment between participants. All materials will be supplied by the VAW at no cost to the families.

There will also be a FOOD DONATION bin at the Gallery for the 3 weeks of the event for those who realize not everyone is a fortunate as others, especially as the colder weather approaches. Donations of food will go to the local Food Bank program.

If you are interested in having your child take part in this fun event, please come and register them at the front desk of the Gallery in the Seaway Mall. Our artists will be there to assist you.
