The Welland Creatives Network  is very pleased to invite you to a September 15th Community Consultation presented by the Rodman Art Institute of Niagara. This will take place at The Bank Art House (at 22 King Street, Welland, Ontario) at 5:30 PM.

A like-minded group of cultural workers and artists, The Welland Creatives Network (WCN) was formed to support and facilitate events and activities that highlight creative activities and endeavours in the City of Welland, as well as being advocates for the local arts sector.
WCN is very excited to host this event to further the conversation about the future of the Rodman Hall Collection, and to provide a space for many voices to talk about the Rodman Art Institute of Niagara: what it can be, what it should be, and what it can mean to the many communities that form the Niagara region, both in terms of culture and community.

Building on the legacy of Rodman Hall Art Centre by caring for the art collection, the Rodman Art Institute of Niagara plans to provide a vibrant platform for visual arts and creative experiences in the Niagara Region.

Their aim is to enhance the visual arts ecosystem of our region through collaboration and mutual support. During the summer and fall of 2022, with the help of Lord Cultural Resources Rodman Art Institute of Niagara will be collecting survey responses, in addition to conducting interviews and community meetings to hear community members’ ideas about how this important collection can contribute to the quality of life here in Niagara.

Please share this with any individuals and organizations as you like, as in hosting this event WCN hopes to bring together many groups and people for input and ideas regarding the Rodman Art Institute of Niagara.
