Maddi Leblanc is a professional Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Athlete for Team Canada from Welland Ontario who will be participating in a race on Sunday June 23^rd called the Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis that raises funds for the Pipers Angels Foundation!

You can learn more details about the race here. In summary, it is an 80-mile paddle from Bimini in the Bahamas to Lake Worth in Florida. She will paddle overnight in the dark, most likely over 12 hours, and intends to be the first Canadian female to win this race! She has big dreams and goals to achieve with this race.

However, one thing she is struggling with extremely right now is sponsorship, as this race is quite expensive to participate in. Additionally, she is still on the hunt for a support boat and captain who can assist her crossing from Bimini back to Florida.
