Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 17th, as CAA Niagara hosts their annual Touch a Truck event at Seaway Mall. This family-friendly event promises an exciting day filled with interactive experiences, all while supporting a great cause!
From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, bring the whole family to Seaway Mall and get up close and personal with the trucks, vehicles, and equipment that are vital to our community’s Emergency and Community Services. Whether it’s climbing aboard a CAA Niagara tow truck, exploring the inside of a fire truck, or checking out a police cruiser, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. We’re also thrilled to offer:
Face Painting & Balloons: Fun for the little ones!
BBQ by Mr. Mikes: Enjoy delicious food, with discounts for CAA Members!
And to make the day even more special, we’re asking all attendees to join us in the fight against hunger by bringing a non-perishable food donation for The Big Food Boost, benefiting Feed Niagara. Feed Niagara is a coalition of 10 regional food banks that work tirelessly to combat hunger in our community with care and compassion. Your generous donation will support:
– Community Care, St. Catharines & Thorold
– Community Care of West Niagara
– GBF Community Services
– Newark Neighbours
– Pelham Cares
– Port Cares
– Project SHARE
– The Hope Centre
– The Salvation Army Fort Erie
– West Lincoln Community Care
Don’t miss this chance to support our community while having a blast with your family! For a list of the most needed items, be sure to visit the CAA Niagara website.
Let’s come together to make this Touch a Truck event one to remember—see you there!
