With all the changes that have impacted in-person fundraising this year, we really needed to become creative in order to raise much-needed funds in this strange new world.
The result of our innovation has been two brand new fundraising campaigns. On September 21st on World Alzheimer’s Day, we launched our first-ever completely online silent auction. We have over seventy items that you can bid on, all from the comfort of your couch!
Looking to do some early Christmas shopping? We have you covered with items like gift baskets, certificates and a Keurig! Are you someone who likes to be out doing things? We have exciting experiences like wine tastings, overnight getaways and art gallery tickets. Are you a thrill-seeker and looking to check some things off your bucket list? We have helicopter rides and sightseeing flights over Toronto and Muskoka! Our silent auction is easy to participate in, all you have to do is go to www.32auctions.com/asnr and place your bids before October 21st!
The second fundraising campaign that we recently launched is a fully licenced online raffle, tickets are 1 for $5 and 3 for $10 and you can purchase them online at www.raffle.alzheimerniagara.ca We have four exciting prizes to choose from! You can purchase tickets up until November 30th and the draw will take place at 1-403 Ontario Street, St. Catharines Ontario on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at 3:00 pm EST. The choice of prize is based on the order that tickets are drawn in e.g. the first ticket drawn has the first choice, the fourth ticket has the fourth choice.
All of our auction and raffle items have been generously donated by our supporters. This year your support is more critical than ever; by participating in our online silent auction and raffle, you will be a champion for individuals and families in Niagara – your neighbours. All of the proceeds from the auction and raffle go directly to supporting our Client Service programs.
