The Port Colborne Historical Society will meet at Portal Village Retirement Home on Monday, January 20th at 7pm.  Guest speaker Janet Hodgkins will speak on “Is There a Loyalist in your Family Tree?”  She will use examples from her own family tree and genealogical research to explain who the Loyalists were. If you have ancestors who have lived in Niagara for about six generations, you may well have Loyalist ancestry.
