Helen’s contribution as a Builder not only within SNRC but also for the wider rowing community in Niagara is exemplary.

Helen will be formally acknowledged on Friday, July 26th, a well-deserved honour for her tireless dedication. Serving as club president for several years, Helen has also been a devoted board member and regatta chair for both the SNI and HOTW regattas. Her experience and commitment have been instrumental in the success of these events.

In a tribute to her passion and legacy, SNRC dedicated a stunning dark purple Fluid 2x boat to Helen in 2022. This boat symbolizes the competitive spirit she embodies and the joy she finds in rowing.

Rowing runs deep in the Taylor family, with Helen’s four daughters sharing her love for the sport. Her husband, Scott, is also a volunteer extraordinaire, further highlighting the Taylor family’s dedication to rowing and community involvement.
