On Monday, July 26, Mayor Frank Campion dropped by the Welland Boat Rental Program located at the Rotary Club of Welland Park which has been operating successfully since the opening on June 19. He was joined by Councillors Bryan Green, Adam Moote, John Chiocchio as well as Vic Kerschl, President of the Welland Rotary Club.
Mayor Frank Campion stated, “As we continue to focus on sport recreation, relocating the Welland Boat Rental Program to the Rotary Club of Welland Park now offers many more opportunities to enhance your experiences. Take the time to explore the recreational canal and enjoy the extra room for gathering spaces and picnics.”

The new Welland Boat Rental Program offers rentals of canoe, kayak, paddle, and pedal boats and operates 11 AM to 8 PM weekdays and 10 AM to 7 PM on weekends, depending on the weather. The reservation system can be found at Boat Rentals (welland.ca)
