Habitat Niagara ReStores have been a one-stop shop for renovation materials and home improvement supplies since 2000. Here are just a few reasons the ReStore is the best place to shop for high-quality and affordable home goods.

Whether you’re on a budget or just love a good deal, the ReStores are the perfect spot to find a bargain. With product already priced below retail, the deal is even sweeter when you get to the register and realize you don’t have to pay HST – ever! Plus, the first Wednesday of every month is Seniors’ Day, where shoppers 60 years or better can save an additional 20%.
2. Brand new product
While ReStores gratefully accept gently-used furniture, appliances, and housewares from private donors, we also have partnerships with local retailers that enable us to receive and sell items that are brand new. In fact, roughly 60% of the product in the ReStore has never been used, and most are in original packaging!
3. Supporting community
Every purchase made at the ReStore helps Habitat for Humanity Niagara in their mission to provide safe, affordable housing to local families. By donating to or purchasing from the ReStore you’re enabling homeowners to achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build better lives for themselves and their families.
4. Supporting the environment
By accepting product donations from our private and corporate donors and participating in several recycling programs, Habitat Niagara ReStores are able to divert over 3 million pounds of waste from local landfills every year; that’s the equivalent of 18 Boeing 737 airliners! 5. Kitchen Donations
Renovating or updating your kitchen? The Habitat Niagara Salvage Team can visit your home and remove your old kitchen for free! Those kitchens are then placed in the ReStore and sold on to people who are looking to replace their kitchen, or who need additional storage for their garages or workshops. You get a tax receipt and someone else benefits from your old kitchen! It’s truly a win-win.
