The Niagara Migrant Workers Interest Group (NMWIG), in partnership with Positive Living Niagara, is hosting two Health Fairs for Migrant Workers this June: One in Fenwick on June 4 (with the Welland McMaster Family Health Team), and the other in Niagara-on-the-Lake on June 25.

NMWIG is asking local businesses in #Niagara to be a part of this exciting event by donating a few needed items to help make this event a success. Items will be distributed to migrant farm workers as raffle and prizes during the Health Fair and will be much appreciated by the workers.

What kind of donations can you provide?

For workers welcome bags: Sunglasses, reusable bags, cricket and soccer balls, sunblock, lip balm, first aid supplies, and work gloves.

Gift Cards for purchasing of: Water, pop, juice, watermelon, cookies, paper plates, cups, and cutlery.

Who will the audience be at NMWIG’s Health Fair? 300-400+ migrant workers from around the Niagara Region, as well as sponsoring agencies and community representatives.

All donors will have their logos at the event with our thanks.
