Lawrence Overbeek and son Calvin receive top honours in their restoration efforts of an historic building at the busy intersection of Pelham St and Highway 20. What was once a distinguished structure, housing various shops, stores and offices since it was first built in the early 19th century, fell into hard times the last few years. The Overbeek family saw the potential in this building and worked to restore it to its original charm. The Town of Pelham benefits from the Overbeek’s labours with the enhanced visual appeal at this popular Pelham crossroads.
