What’s the 2020 Meridian Community Spirit Award’s all about?The 2020 Meridian Community Spirit Award is a nomination based award recognizing 5 individuals and 5 businesses, in Niagara, who have demonstrated community leadership, innovation and/or selflessness throughout the COVID-19 crisis.

This is our way to applaud, recognize and showcase the individuals and businesses who have made our communities stronger despite COVID-19. Most importantly, these awards represent a big thank you, on behalf of all of us, for their efforts!

Who’s eligible for a 2020 Meridian Community Spirit Award?

Any individual or business, based within the Niagara region, who has done exceptional work for their community during the COVID-19 pandemic is considered eligible for this award.

When does the nomination period open?

The nomination period is open from September 1, 2020 at 12:00 AM EST until September 13, 2020 at 11:59 PM EST. There is no limit on the amount of individuals or businesses that you can nominate and we encourage you to nominate anyone who you feel is deserving of this award!
