The Meridian Community Centre’s doors will reopen on Monday January 31, 2022! The Walking Track, recreational programming and ice programming will all be available again! Please note, to enter the Meridian Community Centre (MCC), you will be required to show proof of a double vaccination in the way of a QR Code, as well as a piece of government issued ID.If you need assistance printing your QR code, a computer will be available in the main lobby of the MCC and staff are able to assist in doing so.

Drop-in Programs
We are excited that all programs that were held as drop-in programs before the last lockdown, will be returning back to this format upon re-opening on January 31.
1) Pickleball will once again be a drop in program, with no pre-reservations. There will be a maximum capacity of 20 people per gym, with 3 courts available per gym. As before COVID, and with the outdoor courts in the summer, players can come in during the scheduled time, and if the courts are full, they will decide if they are going to wait to play, or come back at a later time. The capacity limit in the gym is set to reduce gathering and to ensure physical distancing can be maintained by those who are waiting to play. Please find the schedule below:

Monday- 7:30pm-10:30pm *Beginners* (Gym 1)
Tuesday- 9:00am-12:00pm (Gym 1) & 9:00am-10:45am (Gym 2)
Wednesday- 10:30am-1:00pm (Gym 1) & 10:30am-12:00pm (Gym 2)
Thursday- 8:30am-12:00pm (Gym 1) & 8:30am-10:30am (Gym 2)
Friday- 9:00am-12:00pm (Gym 1)
Friday- 7:30pm-10:30pm (Gym 1)
2) 55+ Aerobics with Conditioning will continue as a drop-in program, as it was before this lockdown. This class will run on Monday & Thursdays from 11am-12pm in the gym, with a maximum of 40 participants per class.
3) Yogalates will continue as a drop-in program, as it was before this lockdown. This class will run on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm in the Kinsmen room with a maximum of 15 participants per class.
4) Hatha & Chair Yoga will continue as a drop-in program, as it was before this lockdown. Hatha Yoga is on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm, an Chair Yoga is on Tuesday and Thursdays from 11:15am-12:15pm. Due to the capacities of program spaces, Hatha Yoga and Chair Yoga on Thursdays will have a maximum of 15 participants per class, while Chair yoga on Tuesday will have a maximum of 40 participants per class.
Registered Programs:
These programs require pre-registration and take place in 10 or 12 week sessions. Registration can be done online at www.pelham.ca/register, or over the phone by calling 905-892-2607 ex. 372.
1) Adult Learn to Skate will run on Thursdays from 2:00-2:50pm, from February 3 to April 7th. Learn various skills involving moving forward and backward, gliding, stopping, turning and developing endurance. All participants are required to bring their own skates, and must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet. Registration is OPEN with limited spots available.
2) Brock FIT will once again offer two sessions, at 8-9am or 9-10am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from January 31 to April 22 (with cancelations on February 21st and April 15). This 12 week fitness program takes place 3 days per week, offering supervised functional strength, cardiovascular and balance training that will benefit and resemble everyday activities. Registration is OPEN with limited spots available.
3) Ballroom Dance will once again offer classes on Monday and Wednesday from 7-8pm or 8-9pm. This program will run from February 21 to May 9 (Excluding March 14, 16 and April 18). Below are the available dates, times and dances covered. Registration is OPEN with limited spots available.

Wednesday 7:00-8:00pm – Waltz & Hustle
