It has been several weeks of uncertainty, but our combined efforts have succeeded and we are finally being allowed to reopen! Thank you to all our careworkers for helping us stay safe, and a thank you to everyone doing their best to stop the spread of Covid19. It is because of your efforts that I am pleased to again be able to offer limited classes and private lessons. Please read on to familiarize yourself with the new protocols now in place.
As stated previously, the safety of students and visitors remains a priority and I will continue to monitor the situation with the Seaway Mall, local health officials and government agencies. Based on current guidelines, general class sizes are now limited to six people to provide a safe environment for all guests. This will remain in effect for private lessons as well. (See below for more details on booking private lessons.) Paint Nights are postponed until the mall extends into evening hours. No food will be allowed at present.
In addition, the following measures have been implemented for increased sanitation and improved social distancing within the classroom.
Masks are required upon entry and until all students are settled in their place, or when moving about (ie.to go to the washroom.)
Hand Sanitizer will be provided for all guests and students and stations have been set up throughout the gallery and classroom. All students are requested to use sanitizer before and after classes, and when moving about the classroom. Hand washing with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds is also recommended, and can be performed in the washroom as needed during classes. The washroom will be cleaned before and after each class, and after each use.
The spaces between student work areas has been increased to provide greater social distancing, and any materials that are to be shared will be wiped down before and after classes.
A plastic sheeting barrier has been placed down the center length of the tables to separate them, and a new video monitor system has been installed to increase visibility for follow-along instruction.
Students are encouraged to bring their own markers, pencils and erasers, and adult students will continue to bring their own materials as usual. A list of recommended items is available upon request.

Private Individual Lessons, Family Groups or Private Groups
Private lessons for individuals will be available upon request within current mall hours. $50/hr/person
Lessons and Paint Parties are now available for social circles of up to 6 people. Groups may consist of immediate family members or friends and family members of 1 social circle. (Note: Facemasks are still required to be worn.)
