1994, Country Corner Market has grown from a simple meat and deli shop to a specialty food store, catering to their customers’ needs wherever possible. “We focus on high-quality products with excellent service, and of course, everyone knows us for our sausages,” Dalton proudly shares. “Many people will tell you that our chipotle steak is the best steak they’ve ever had, and we can barely keep up making them in the summer.”

“We are dedicated to our strong connection to the Pelham/Welland community,” Dalton emphasizes. “I love the small-town feel. I know a lot of my customers on a first-name basis, and we’re able to be really involved in the community. We donate to a lot of charities, schools, and even stag and does; every little bit counts, and it’s awesome to see how happy people are to get even the smallest bit of help. No one is looking for a handout, but a lot of people could use a hand up, and that’s what we aim to do here.”

Outside of his business, Dalton’s passions align closely with his entrepreneurial endeavors. Whether he’s experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, delving into business studies, or brainstorming innovative marketing strategies, Dalton’s dedication to his craft and community shines through.
