A community leader who gets things done!
Frank knows how to build a community we can all take pride in. He sees the Mayor as an Ambassador who will work diligently with Council to promote Pelham, locally, regionally, and provincially.
Frank has proven throughout his extensive career as a paramedic, College Professor, Hospital Vice President, Health Planner, Emergency Medical Services Chief, professional fundraiser and small business owner that aspires to leadership roles, building teams and getting the job done.
His extensive community and international humanitarian work has been recognized by The Rotary Foundation, the Governor General and the Kinsmen Club of Fonthill and District who recognized Frank’s commitment to the well-being of Pelham and named Frank Pelham’s Citizen of the Year in 2019.
Frank and his wife Judy, a retired Registered Nurse, have two grown daughters residing in Warwick, England and Pullman, Washington and a 10 year old grandson. They have lived in Niagara since 1972 and in Fonthill since 1985.
In Pelham Frank is presently serving on the Board of Wellspring Niagara, the Pelham Non-Profit Housing Board and is Vice Chair of the Pelham Summerfest Committee. Over the past three years Frank has worked tirelessly in seeing the resurrection of Pelham’s iconic Arches over Town Square and just recently was successful in winning a grant to complete this project. He co-coordinated the very successful Canada Summer Games Torch Run working with 14 Rotary Clubs, two Rotaract Clubs and 12 municipalities. Frank had the honour of being selected as a torch bearer in Pelham.
