The regulations surrounding the pandemic have brought inspiration to Wellspring Niagara to create a bigger virtual fundraising challenge. While we can’t meet up, physically, we look forward to the new successes that await us in our March On Niagara.
Wellspring Niagara is thrilled to announce that as we enter the last month of the MARCH ON NIAGARA Challenge our participants are achieving some amazing goals and also truly helping spread awareness of Wellspring Niagara!
March On Niagara is a self-made challenge, celebrating going outdoors for the spring season in beautiful Niagara, that anyone can do because participants set the goal and task themselves.
Participants choose a task, set a time or distance as your goal, do it as an individual or as a team, and raise funds for Wellspring Niagara’s cancer support programming.
We are pleased to announce that any youth that would like to participate in March On Niagara can do so with no registration fee. Wellspring Niagara is committed to encouraging our youth to make a difference and applaud their effort of bring community awareness and funds to our charity. Youth (aged 17 or under) can join as an individual or join a team. This is a great way to create a family outdoor challenge or for teachers to get their class behind a community project while keeping youth active in today’s current situation.
The March On Niagara Challenge is presented by Colonial Florist and Meridian Credit Union!
March On Niagara runs until June 20, 2021, we will encourage participants to march out of spring and “March On” for people living with cancer in Niagara. PARTICIPANTS CAN REGISTER ANYTIME OVER THE NEXT MONTH – the sooner you register the more time you have to complete your goal!!
The funds raised during the March On Niagara Challenge will help us continue to provide free cancer support services and help build community awareness – because no one should feel alone while going through a cancer journey.
Participants can choose the activity challenge of their choice, go solo or get friends, family, or colleagues together to do it as a team. With a cost of $20 to register and an expectation to raise a minimum of $100, anyone can participate and also help us achieve success.
Participants that complete their challenge goal and the $100 fundraising goal will receive a completion T-shirt and medal.
