Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is proud to present “Immersion,” a solo exhibition by acclaimed artist Grace Marquez. Running from September 1st to September 29th, 2024 in its Joyner Gallery, this exhibit explores the underwater world through Marquez’s evocative paintings.

The public is invited to the opening reception on September 8th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM to meet the artist and experience her work firsthand. Artist’s remarks will be delivered at 2:30 pm. This event is generously supported by Château des Charmes, providing an assortment of fine wines.

About Grace Marquez
Grace is a skilled painter whose work is deeply influenced by her extensive experience as a technical diver, wreck diver, cave diver, and scuba instructor. Her professional journey began with a B.F.A. from Queen’s University and further studies in Computer Graphics at Sheridan College. Grace’s art is a vibrant reflection of the underwater realms she explores, translating the dynamic interplay of light, movement, and life into her textured, layered paintings. Her work has been exhibited internationally, earning her recognition and a place in private collections worldwide.
