The Visual Artists of Welland (VAW) is thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration with the Welland Writers Guild. In a first for Welland, 15 talented authors and artists are coming together for a unique project that promises to be a creative masterpiece.

Today, the participating artists had the opportunity to sit down and select a piece of prose or poetry from the Writers Guild at random. Now begins the exciting journey of creating an artwork that captures and brings out the essence of the writer’s creation in a fresh, visual way.

The culmination of this collaboration will be unveiled in October at the Seaway Mall, where the completed projects will be displayed for the community to enjoy. More details will be shared as the event approaches, so stay tuned!
