The City of Welland is looking to recruit lifeguard and swim instructors for the 2021 summer season. The City is ready to offer free recertification and transfer courses to all interested applicants. Available Canadian Red Cross courses include Pool Lifeguard, Standard First Aid with CPR Level C, and Water Safety Instructor.

In addition, the City is looking to recruit Recreation and Culture Ambassadors. Interested applicants will have the opportunity to receive free lifeguard training throughout their employment with the City. Job postings for summer employment are available on the City website. All interested applicants must submit a resume and cover letter to hr@welland.ca.
